To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must submit documentation that they have the equivalent of one of the following:

high school equivalency certificate (GED)
Associate or higher degree
standard high school diploma
High School

If you graduated from a high school in the United States, please request that final, official transcripts be sent to HCC in a sealed envelope or electronically directly from your high school by the given application deadline. Transcripts must include your final grades and graduation date. Opened transcripts are considered to be unofficial and will not be accepted.

IELTS academic overall band score of 5.5 or higher
TOEFL score of 61 (iBT) or higher.

The agriculture transfer track AA degree is for students who plan to pursue a Bachelor's degree in agricultural fields such as agricultural education, media, engineering, agronomy, animal science, forestry, plant science, and food science. Careers include teaching, writing, sales, manufacturing, farm management, extension services, animal breeding, other jobs working directly with plants and animals, or a variety of positions in agricultural businesses and related industries. This transfer track is for students who want to pursue a four-year degree in agricultural fields such as agricultural-education, media, engineering, agronomy, animal science, forestry, plant science, and food science.
