MATH 085 or equivalent
One of the following Grade 11 sciences:
Life Sciences 11, Biology 11, or BIO 083 (strongly recommended)
Chemistry 11 or CHEM 083
Earth Science 11
Physics 11 or PHYS 083
Applicants must meet the Degree/diploma level English language proficiency requirement. For details on how this requirement may be met, see the English language proficiency requirement section of the calendar.
The Agriculture Technology department will also consider applicants if they can demonstrate that they have a reasonable chance for success. Applicants will be required to submit a portfolio and/or be interviewed.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) IBT score of 88 with no section below 20, or paper-based score of 570 with a TWE (essay) score of 4.5 or higher.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic format score of at least 6.5., with no band score less than 6.0.
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) score of at least 85.
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) score of at least 70.

Students seeking practical training in livestock production can earn a Livestock Production certificate. The program introduces you to the latest practices in animal breeding, nutrition, and health, including:<br>Pest biology and identification<br>Health and nutrition of farm animals<br>Equine production and management<br>Management and production of beef, sheep, and goats or management and production of poultry and swine<br>Farm and equipment safety<br>Soils and soil fertility<br>Ruminant animal health<br>Forage crop production<br>Dairy production and management<br>As part of the program, you also learn the fundamental business and writing skills required in the workplace.<br>The one-year program transfers completely to the two-year Agriculture Technology diploma, Livestock Production option. Graduates may also be able to transfer their Livestock Production certificate to other Agriculture diploma programs.
