Dig into both the science and business of the crop sector with our crop technology program.<br><br>You'll learn agronomy, precision farming, sustainability and financial management.<br><br>You arent confined to classrooms. Youll also get your hands dirty on the Student-Managed Farm - Powered by New Holland.<br><br>Use and calibrate the newest agricultural technology and software. You may even get a chance to try the latest New Holland combine.<br><br>Teamwork and collaboration are a big part of your SMF experience. As part of the crop unit youll make real world decisions about:<br><br>what to grow on the college farm <br>managing production through to harvest <br>how to market and when to sell your corps<br>On the business side, gain understanding about working with accountants, banks and business partners.<br><br>Along the way youll develop leadership and job skills. As a crop technology graduate, youre prepared to run your own farm or work in the retail agriculture sector.
