Students are required to have completed the equivalent of grade 12 level university preparatory English and 4 other university preparatory courses. The overall average should be equivalent to at least 70 percent with no individual grade below 60 percent.
Students may be admitted if they have completed the IB Diploma with a total score of 24 points and a minimum grade of 3 in required courses.
IELTS Academic minimum score of 6.5 with no individual score below 60.
IELTS Online Indicator Test minimum score of 6.5 with no individual score below 60.
Cambridge B2 First C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency minimum score of 176 with no individual score below 169.
TOEFL iBT minimum score of 80 overall with no score below 20.
TOEFL iBT Home Edition minimum score of 80 overall with no score below 20.
CAEL minimum score of 60 with no individual score below 50.
Pearson PTE score of 58 or better.
Completion of university preparatory English at a Languages Canada accredited school recognized by Saint Marys.

That makes it even more necessary than ever for Canadians to develop knowledge of the world's diverse cultures, and how they relate and interact.<br><br>Saint Mary's Intercultural Studies program will allow you to develop both efficient practical strategies, and theoretical knowledge, for interacting successfully with colleagues, customers, clients, student.<br><br>Developing intercultural communication skills is becoming critical for professionals, employers and employees, business owners, educators, and social workers. Theories in Intercultural Studies have flourished in the past 20 years in a wide spectrum of professional and academic specializations, from health to social work, education and business.<br><br>Graduates with an Intercultural Studies major will be better equipped to work in changing, diverse, multilingual contemporary workplaces. Students who plan to pursue careers in environments that involve understanding between different cultural groupsespecially where different linguistic backgrounds are at playwill find it especially valuable. Intercultural Studies will be an asset in many professions, including social work, counselling, teaching, education, administration, business, customer relations, international development, law, information management, museum studies, film studies, fine arts, and many more.
