Provide three letters of recommendation (e.g., from former professors, employers, or other people in the professional community. You will be required to upload an unofficial transcript from each institution that you have attended. Uploading unofficial transcripts will significantly decrease the amount of time required to process your application. Official transcripts will be required if you are admitted. Graduate Record Examination (GRE): Only the general test is required (Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical). You do not have to take any subject tests. The minimum TOEFLS scores for international students are: IBT: 88, PDT: 875, IELTS: 7.0, Academic Background and Interest, Statement of Purpose: Required as an Essay of Motivation, CV/Resume: Required, Writing Sample-Essay-Publication: Required, • Faculty: Not applicable, Provide us with your general background and your educational and professional activities. Your resume should also inform us about your voluntary
activities, services to the community and others, and more. Only the general test is required (Verbal and Quantitative) All applicants must submit three (3) samples of their written work in a digital dossier. Your digital dossier should include evidence of recent, different types of written work, including more complex assignments. Include what you think is representative of your best work, and what is expressive of you. The Admissions Committee might request additional materials from applicants, including, but not limited to: A writing example, An interview, At least a 3.0 or higher undergraduate weighted mean GPA on a 4.0 scale. If the undergraduate GPAis below 3.0, a GPA will be calculated for the last two years attended if schooling was done at a foreign institution, and based upon the last 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) if the student attended a U.S. institution.

Historic Preservation is a track intended to equip practitioners with analytical, planning, and design skills that foster stewardship of the built environment. Participants will learn how to recognize and identify what character-defining features and opportunities are important considerations in the reuse of the built environment and how to manage the processes that ensure the attainment of sustainability goals of contemporary society. The MSAS program is designed for students seeking education in a specialty area of architectural research. The program can be completed by students in approximately two years of study and prepares students for professional practice in a specialty area of architecture. This degree is not accredited to gain licensure for practice as an architect or other field requiring professional licensing. Any student wishing to enter the program must apply for acceptance in the fall semester prior to their first year of study.
