Students are required to have completed the equivalent of grade 12 level university preparatory English and 4 other university preparatory courses. The overall average should be equivalent to at least 70 percent with no individual grade below 60 percent.
Students may be admitted if they have completed the IB Diploma with a total score of 24 points and a minimum grade of 3 in required courses.
IELTS Academic minimum score of 6.5 with no individual score below 60.
IELTS Online Indicator Test minimum score of 6.5 with no individual score below 60.
Cambridge B2 First C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency minimum score of 176 with no individual score below 169.
TOEFL iBT minimum score of 80 overall with no score below 20.
TOEFL iBT Home Edition minimum score of 80 overall with no score below 20.
CAEL minimum score of 60 with no individual score below 50.
Pearson PTE score of 58 or better.
Completion of university preparatory English at a Languages Canada accredited school recognized by Saint Marys.

Improve your knowledge of Atlantic Canada with The Certificate in Atlantic Canada Studies and develop a more nuanced understanding of the region. The certificate provides a valuable educational option for international students who wish to follow an intense curriculum that combines a variety of different academic programs into a one-year program of study. By creating a classroom environment where local and international students share their different perspectives on the region, the certificate stimulates a useful exchange of ideas and fully integrates the study of Atlantic Canada into a broader national and global analytical framework.<br><br>To fulfill the requirements of the certificate in Atlantic Canada Studies, students must complete 24 credit hours of instruction. Fifteen of those credit hours must come from the courses listed in Group A, while 9 credit hours must be drawn from Group B.
