国际学生入学条件

A U.S. bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or an equivalent degree from another country as determined by the Office of Admissions. A minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00, or foreign equivalent as determined by the Office of Admissions. Newly admitted graduate students who present TOEFL scores below 600 on the PBT or below 100 on the IBT will be required to complete an English Proficiency Evaluation on campus before their first registration for classes. A total IELTS score of 7.0, with no subscore less than 6.0. In addition, all IELTS test takers?regardless of score?will be required to take an on-campus English Proficiency Evaluation. A set of your unofficial academic records/transcripts uploaded on your Admissions Profile. If you are admitted, official transcripts will be required before your enrollment.

The Foreign Language and ESL Education Ph.D. program is designed for individuals with demonstrated success in language teaching. It combines the expertise of program faculty with resources from many areas of the college and university: teacher education, second language teaching and learning, assessment, educational linguistics, technology integration in education, and second language literacy. Students are encouraged to choose a related area within education to enhance their knowledge of both national and international educational systems.
