You'll also gain proficiency in Japanese language skills, a deep understanding of how cultural heritage shapes the people and society of modern Japan, and a keen sensitivity to intercultural differences. You'll learn practical language skills and gain an understanding of cultural literacy through the study of Japanese literature, cultural traditions, and contemporary aesthetics. In addition, this program also emphasizes the development of critical thinking and analysis through the study of Japanese historical, social, political, and geographical content.
