国际学生入学条件

English is the primary language of instruction in all Faculties except Facult Saint-Jean. All undergraduate applicants to any program or course except Facult Saint-Jean need an adequate level of English language proficiency before admission, regardless of their citizenship status or country of origin. The University of Alberta reserves the right to use discretion in determining adequate levels of language proficiency to ensure success in academic programs.
Graduation from a recognized degree program offered by an accredited university at which English is the primary language of instruction or in a country where English is the primary language.
A score of at least 90 on the TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language - Internet-based) with no less than 21 on each band.
A score of at least 6.5 on the IELTS Academic (International English Language Testing System) with no band less than 6.0.
A score of at least 70 on the Canadian Academic English Language assessment: CAEL (paper) or CAEL CE (computer) with no band less than 60.

Languages have always played an important role in human history and remain essential to the activities of the modern world. Languages underpin social, business, political, and recreational interaction. A knowledge of languages and cultures opens the door to an exciting world of travel, work, and study abroad experiences. Modern languages at Augustana (French, German, Norwegian) allows students to develop skills in critical thinking, writing, and public speaking. Students can choose from a variety of language, literature, and culture courses, including travel opportunities.
