Transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended or are now attending even if you do not want transfer credit.
OPTION 1: ADMISSION BASED ON GRADES FROM HIGH SCHOOL
For this option, the SAT or ACT is NOT required for admission.
This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school).
Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission -- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
Students who have completed AP, IB, or Cambridge A or AS level curriculum are eligible to receive transfer credit.
Students must submit final high school transcripts.
You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.

A field major/Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) in ethnic studies from Wichita State will expose you to the diversity of experience of many racial and ethnic groups. You'll be able to tailor the degree to your interestspreparing you for advanced study as well as diverse careers in areas such as journalism, social work, criminal justice, history and many others. At Wichita State, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation. The field major required 18 credit hours of ethnic-studies coursework. In addition, you'll work with academic and faculty advisors to select additional courses that demonstrate interests within a liberal-arts-based education. A degree in ethnic studies from Wichita State will equip you with skills and knowledge you can apply in many different fieldsand serves as a good base for graduate study leading to careers in the private, public and nonprofit sectors.
