The Great Texts major is one of two undergraduate majors within the Baylor University Honors College, but it is not required that you be part of Honors to major in Great Texts. The coursework includes the study of influential written works from a variety of cultures throughout the ages. These studies are intensely practical because questions in real life often concern the connections between knowledge, ethical discernment and imaginative enjoyment. Many graduates pursue graduate, law and medical school. Graduates can also expect to find career opportunities in international business or at academic institutions.
