Learn in the classroom through in-depth simulations like Model Illinois Government and Model United Nations. Through a partnership with John Marshall Law School, complete your undergraduate degree and a Juris Doctor degree in six years instead of seven. Multiple internship opportunities, including the WIU in DC program and through contacts with local public officials. Integrated program allows students to receive a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in five years. The Political Science major prepares the student for a wide range of careers, including: administration of national, state, and local government agencies, preparation for admission to law school, urban and regional planning, political journalism, the conduct and analysis of foreign policy, and preparation for graduate study in Political Science.
