In order to gain admission into the program, students must meet the following criteria: bachelor's degree, grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 in their undergraduate major, an interview with a committee of faculty teaching in the program and a writing sample to be completed at the time of the interview.
Transcript: One from each college attended.
Letters of Recommendation: Two. (Optional for Fall 2020 applicants)
A minimum TOEFL score of at least 83 on the internet-based test (iBT) or 62 on the paper-based test (pBT).
For IELTS test takers, the minimum required score is 6.5.

This Master of Arts will offer students an applied course of study in child advocacy. As an emerging field, child advocacy includes an understanding of parts of several disciplines: psychology, sociology, law. However, it is a field where the whole is equal to more than the sum of its parts. Briefly stated, this program aims to provide a comprehensive view of the field of child advocacy that includes both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary components.
