All international applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency English language proficiency may be demonstrated by one of the following -
TOEFL iBT - minimum score of 79.
IELTS - minimum score of 6.5.
Cambridge English Advanced - 176-184.
Pearson Test of English minimum score of 53.
Eiken Test of English completion of level Pre1.
Applicants who have attended a secondary school or post-secondary school where the language of instruction is English may be exempt from submitting an English proficiency examination depending upon their English grades AP IB O level A-level GCSE American Curriculum and their SAT and or ACT scores if submitted Such exemptions are determined on a case-by-case basis.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science prepares students to work with children, families, adolescents, and adults in a variety of human service and community settings. In addition to studying at the Kingston Campus, HDF undergraduate majors can complete some or all of their degree program at the Feinstein Providence Campus, which offers a more urban environment.<br><br>Within the major, you will be able to choose among a variety of professional preparation concentrations and certificate options.<br><br>The aging and health interest area prepares students for future careers within various health-related and community settings. A unique skill set of HDF students is to understand what typical development should look like, which allows them to identify developmental concerns and intervene before health is significantly impacted
