a) Have an undergraduate Bachelor's degree in psychology
b) Have a Master's degree in psychology
c) For Non-Psychology majors - Complete at least six undergraduate or graduate courses in psychology, including Statistics, Research Methods, Abnormal Psychology, and three general content courses (such as developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, personality, biological bases of behavior, or history and systems of psychology). You must submit a transcript, detailed marks certificate or comparable document that shows all course work, grades and proof of earned degrees from each institution youve attended. This is required for all colleges and universities where you have taken academic courses, regardless of whether or not you earned credit, the program was completed or the credit appears as transfer credit on another transcript. You should upload unofficial transcripts to your online account. If you are offered admission, you will be required to submit official copies prior to enrolling. Do not submit official copies until you have been instructed to do so. If your transcripts or records are from a university outside of the United States, carefully review the admission requirement for your program to determine what you should upload to your application.TOEFL-100 on the internet-based test (IBT), 600 on the paper-based test (IBT), IELTS: an overall band score of 7.0 with no individual band score below 6.0, PTE Academic-68.

Accredited by the American Psychological Association, the clinical psychology PhD program follows a scientist-practitioner model. Students are trained as applied researchers and scientists, developing skills in research and practical methods used to advance knowledge of the causes, prevention and treatment of emotional, behavioral and physical health problems within diverse communities.<br><br>We embrace a community psychology orientation that emphasizes multiple influences on the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities and values engaging communities in all aspects of the work that we do.<br><br>Our training is grounded in developmental and social-ecological perspectives that attend to the intersection of multiple forms of diversity and recognize the impacts of systemic oppression on individuals and communities. We aspire to train behavioral scientists who are able to identify, implement and evaluate strategies to promote equity and social justice and to reduce health and mental health disparities in a variety of settings.<br><br>Faculty subscribe to a range of theoretical orientations, including cognitive-behavioral, family systems, social-ecological and community frameworks. These perspectives enable students to develop a broad base of knowledge and the opportunity to specialize in particular areas of research and evidence-based application.
