A four-year (honours) undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in psychology or related field.
An honours graduate in a program other than psychology, or a combination of psychology and another subject, or general degree graduates may be admitted if evidence justifying admission is offered. However, a program of appropriate preparatory studies (a qualifying year) may be required of such applicants. Honours graduates in psychology may also be required to successfully complete one or two undergraduate courses before they are admitted to the MSc program.
A minimum B average in your last two years of study.
Applications are reviewed by the graduate program committee, which considers all prior university grades, a writing sample and letters of reference.
TOEFL iBT/TOEFL iBT Home Edition: minimum score of 83, with minimum skill scores of 20 in each of the skills tests (speaking, writing, reading and listening).
Paper-based TOEFL: minimum of 560.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS, IELTS Online): academic minimum score of 6.5 with no band score below 6.0.

Neuroscience is one of the most exciting and rapidly advancing fields in all of the life sciences. At Laurier, we take a broadly integrative perspective, examining the interaction between behaviour, cognition and the nervous system across a diverse set of species from fish to humans, ranging in scale from populations, to individuals, to cells, on timescales ranging from milliseconds to generations.<br>In our program, you’ll hit the ground running and start conducting research with a faculty adviser in the fall of your first year. Over the course of 16 to 24 months, with the close mentorship of your adviser, you’ll learn how to develop a program of research, use research methodologies and statistical techniques, present your work in talks and posters, and communicate your research as an expert in the field.<br><br>You'll form close bonds with faculty and peers through small, intensive courses, research lab groups, and regular area meetings including seminars and journal clubs.<br><br>###COVID Alert Message from University –"All coursework in graduate programs will be delivered remotely or online in fall 2020.
