国际学生入学条件
Certified transcripts are required from each secondary school, college or university attended. A record of at least four years of schooling is needed in order to evaluate the application. Detailed information concerning courses taken and grades received must be listed on these records. If necessary, transcripts should be translated into English with the originals sealed and attached.
All international students whose first language is not English are required to submit a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score. We accept self-reported test scores.
Wake Forest does not require applicants to submit an SAT or ACT score in the admissions application. If submitting scores, please know that we accept self-reported scores.

Scores are only required if you want them considered in your admissions application. We accept self-reported scores. If you take a test multiple times, please simply be sure to report all test scores to us. We will superscore them.

Japanese Language & Culture majors develop communication skills in both spoken and written Japanese as well as knowledge of Japanese cultural and literary traditions, which go back more than 30,000 years. <br>The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures strives to cultivate proficiency in Japanese and Chinese languages and understanding of East Asian cultures from an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspective. Our rigorous curriculum of language, literature, film, and culture develops students communication skills and analytical abilities, expands their intellectual curiosity, knowledge, and appreciation of cultures and societies in East Asia, and fosters their critical and empathetic capacities to engage with diverse cultures, experiences, and views. The department firmly believes that translingual and transcultural competencies are crucial to global citizenship and creating a more inclusive, sustainable, and compassionate society.
