It is assumed that candidates for the M.A. will have an undergraduate program of a minimum of 24 hours in French above the 204 level.
Candidates who lack comprehensive prior academic training in the discipline may be admitted provisionally (contact the Director of Graduate Studies for French for details). A ''B'' average (3.0 GPA on a four-point scale) or higher is normal for admission to our graduate programs.

课程简介

The Master of Education in Teacher Education offered through the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (with a concentration in French Education) culminates with the development of an Advanced Competencies Portfolio, providing eligibility for candidates to apply for ''M'' licensure from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Field experiences (school-based activities) are required. The Master of Education in Teacher Education with a concentration in French Education is designed for applicants who already hold ''A'' licensure and requires 36 semester hours with 18 semester hours in the content area. All students are required to demonstrate proficiency in Phonetics.
