Offered by the School of Linguistics and Language Studies, the MA in Linguistics provides students with a grounding in the core areas of theoretical linguistics . It takes a uniquely interdisciplinary approach, both by focusing on the interfaces between subdomains of linguistics, and by bringing in interfaces with allied fields. Most courses are taught by faculty cross-appointed in other units.
