You are not required to submit proof of English proficiency language test scores if you have successfully completedor are in the process of successfully completingone of the following -
Four fullyears of study in English or French at an accredited high school in Canada or where English is the official primary language of the country or,
Four fullyears of study at the high-school level where English is the primary language of instruction or,
One fullyear of study in an accredited university degree program in English in a country where English is a primary language or where English is the official language of the institution or
Two fullyears of study in English in an accredited college diploma orapplied degree program in a country where English is a primary language or where English is the official language of the institution.
International Baccalaureate IB Students who have completed or in the process of completing the IB diploma in English or French may meet our language requirements Students must show achievement of the IB diploma once it has been granted.
Applicants with an International Baccalaureate IB Diploma - The University may grant a maximum of 30 credits 5 full courses for Higher Level IB courses with grades of 5 or better.
GCE GCSE IGCSE A minimum final grade of B in GCSE IGCSE GCE Ordinary Level English English Language or English as a Second Language OR a minimum final or predicted grade of C in GCE A Level or AS Level or sAICE English or English Language.
TOEFL IBT - 88, IELTS - 6.5,

Get a solid foundation in linguistics and languages in the ideal setting: a multilingual, multicultural campus located within one of Canada's most diverse cities. While the program is focused on English, French and Spanish, we take a broad view of language learning across the world. <br><br>Youll be offered courses from a rich menu of linguistics branches, including phonetics (the sound properties of language), morphology (word patterns), semantics (the study of meaning in general), historical linguistics (the evolution of languages over time) and sociolinguistics (the relationships between language and social contexts). <br><br>As a Glendon Linguistics & Language student, youll benefit from the extensive language resources available outside the classroom. The Glendon Centre for Research on Language Contact provides research assistantships and other opportunities for hands-on experience, and the Linguistics Department frequently hosts talks and conferences featuring well-known scholars in the field.<br><br>As a Linguistics & Language Studies graduate, you are well-equipped to become a leader and changemaker. You can choose to pursue grad studies or obtain additional qualifications.
