Fulfill CSULB's English Language Requirement
Have completed at least 1 year of high school mathematics. Applicants to STEM majors must have at least 3 years of high school mathematics.
CSULB has waived the SAT/ACT requirement for all first-time Freshmen applicants. However, if you have taken the test or are planning on doing so, you may have met our English language requirement if you scored at least 550 on the SAT Evidence based Reading & Writing section or ACT 22 or higher in the English section.

课程简介

The program in Religious Studies develops in students critical understanding of the forms of religious phenomena in their cultural and historical contexts and a sensitivity to different value systems. The program provides students with an introduction to the major religious traditions and to religion in the modern world. Because religion infuses human cultures in visible and invisible ways, Religious Studies places special emphasis on relating the religious dimension of human life to the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. The Religious Study major of 36 units is organized into three areas of study: A. Culture, Gender, and Ethics; and B. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and their Precursors; and C. Indigenous, Hindu, Buddhist, and other Asian Traditions. Additionally, students must take three core courses: RST 100, 302, and 401.
