The Associate of Arts and Science (AAS) degree is a two-year, general education-based academic program with topics covering fine arts and humanities, mathematical and natural sciences, and social sciences. An AAS degree can serve as the foundation for many college majors and is generally accepted by other UW System institutions to fulfill the general education courses required for a bachelor's degree.
