The Communication program at the University of New Haven are designed to give you the specialized skills you need to creatively and successfully adapt to the continuing evolution of both interpersonal and mass communication. Our Bachelor of Arts in Communication will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to frame and deliver the message through interpersonal communication, organizational communication, public relations, advertising, mass communication, journalism, radio, television, and film. Students earning a B.A. degree in communication with a concentration in public relations will build specialized knowledge and skills related to public relations across a variety of platforms, contexts, and formats in addition to acquiring a solid grounding in communication fundamentals. Through coursework emphasizing writing, campaigns, and persuasion, as well as field experiences and internship opportunities, students will learn to become competent and well-rounded public relations professionals.
