From all colleges or universities you've attended must be submitted. You must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent international degree.
Transcripts
Upon submission of your application, you must upload unofficial transcripts from all colleges or universities you've attended. You must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent international degree. (See Cornell's list of International Degree Equivalencies) There is no specific minimum grade point average used as a cut-off, although undergraduate coursework and grades are a factor in the admission decisions. Please note that admitted applicants who accept their offer will be required to submit official transcripts.
Recommendations
Two (2) letters of recommendation are required. Academic recommendations are preferred, but professional recommendations are also accepted. Letters of recommendation need to be submitted via the applicant's online application.
Interview
After submitting an application for the MILR program, you will be invited to record an online video interview. For your convenience, our interview questions have been pre-recorded so that you can complete your responses at any time. The video interview is part of a holistic assessment that will be considered alongside your completed application. Detailed information about the video interviews will be provided by email after you submit your application.
Resume
All applicants are required to submit a resume with their application.
Academic Statement of Purpose
All applicants are required to submit a statement of purpose with their application.
GRE or GMAT Scores
The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) test scores are not required for admission. If you choose to submit test scores, for GRE exams, send scores to Cornell University Graduate School Code # 2098. Department codes are not used for matching scores to applications, if ETS requires you to select a department code, you may choose ''undecided'' or ''not listed''.
Overall band score for the IELTS is 7.0.
Minimum sub-scores for each element of the TOEFL are: Listening: 15, Reading: 20, Speaking: 22, Writing: 20.

In the Dispute Resolution concentration students can prepare for careers as neutrals, advocates, or consultants in conflict resolution. The rise of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in employment relations and other fields has created opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers as mediators, arbitrators, or facilitators. A growing number of corporations and other organizations have hired dispute resolution specialists to manage their ADR programs. Federal and State agencies, such as the United States Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and the United States Department of Labor, and international agencies, such as the International Labour Organization, employ specialists in dispute resolution. Given the Diversity in these career options, the concentration is quite flexible and is intended to address student needs and interests.<br>Choose one of the following areas of concentration: human resources and organizations, collective representation, dispute resolution, labor-market policy, or international and comparative labor. Students complete a minimum of 48 credits in courses and seminars, including required courses in collective bargaining, organizational behavior, labor economics, labor and employment law, human resource management, and statistics. Candidates with a law or M.B.A. degree from a U.S. institution may be able to obtain M.I.L.R. degree in two semesters. Students interested in careers in business administration may apply for a five-semester, dual-degree program at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations (M.I.L.R.) and the Johnson Graduate School of Management (M.B.A.).
