The Media Arts Department offers dynamic undergraduate and graduate degree programs with specialized professional tracks in digital audio, computer graphics, film/TV/video production, media studies, media management, screenwriting, video journalism and photography. Students from around the world cultivate their creativity in the Department's state-of-the-art production labs and facilities, while receiving personalized instruction and mentoring from the Department's experienced faculty and staff members. <br><br>Both undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Media Arts also have the opportunity to take part in exciting, challenging internships in New York City, the media capital of the world.<br>A comprehensive Bachelor of Arts degree which allows for specialized area(s) of concentration or an integrated track, depending on the academic, creative and professional goals of the individual student. An area of concentration is a grouping of 24 or more credits in one of the following fields: Computer Graphics, Digital Design, Animation and Interactive Media, Digital Audio Production and Sound Design, Film, Television and Digital Video Production, Media Management, Photography/Digital Photography.<br><br>An integrated track is a grouping of 24 or more credits selected from across two or more of any of the above areas of concentration. Majors must consult with assigned faculty advisers in their field of interest to design, and be guided through, their particular program of study.
