Before you apply to a URI graduate program, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the United States or the equivalent of a four-year degree at an international university that is evaluated by an approved agency.
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better in the undergraduate career that can be confirmed with official transcripts from the institution (some programs may require a higher or lower GPA).
TOEFL iBT - An overall score of 80 or above
Reading: 19 ,Writing: 18, Listening: 17, Speaking: 18
The minimum score on the Paper-based TOEFL is 550.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): All scores must be sent directly to URI. Required minimum score of 6.5, AND minimum scores in the following areas:
Reading: 6.5, Writing: 6.5, Listening: 6.5, Speaking: 6.5
Duolingo English Test: Required minimum score of 105

The Graduate Certificate in Digital Literacy is a 12-credit graduate program for educators, librarians and media professionals. You will acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies required to participate in our read/write culture. Active participation is defined as being able to skillfully use, create and share digital texts, tools and technologies.<br><br>The concept of literacy is undergoing a profound transformation.
