Penn State Law's corporate law curriculum explores the creation and maintenance of various business entities, from the buying and selling of corporate shares and assets to the tax consequences and ethical issues relating to corporate entities. Students gain practical experience conducting research in the Center for the Study of Mergers and Acquisitions and assisting early stage ventures in the Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic. Students may earn Concentration recognition in Corporate Law and Practice using courses from the Selected Courses section below. J.D. students must earn a minimum of 12 credits and LL.M. students a minimum of 9 credits. A minimum grade of C is required for each course being used toward this Concentration. Upon verification of completion, students will receive a document of recognition.
