课程简介
Public administration and urban and regional planning have many aspects in common. To provide students with an excellent education through an understanding of both professions, the School of Public Affairs and the College of Architecture and Planning have developed the Dual Master of Public Administration/Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree, requiring a minimum of 66 semester hours, as compared to a total of 87 semester hours to complete both degrees independently. Students interested in pursuing the dual-degree program must apply to and be admitted to each of the programs before completing 18 hours in their respective programs. The University of Colorado Denver's Master of Public Administration program focuses on developing passionate, skilled, and open-minded leaders by providing students with the training needed to address the everyday challenges faced in the public and nonprofit sectors. Students will develop the skills necessary to organize, lead, and manage in the public and nonprofit sectors. With coursework rooted in research and analytics, ethics and decision-making, and leadership and policy, students will be well equipped to thrive in public service and drive meaningful change.
