CSUN created the Health Administration option of our highly regarded MPA program in response to requests for an opportunity to develop leadership and management skills specific to health-related organizations. Since there are many public sector nuances within the health care sector, it is crucial for those involved to have the capacity for managing both domains. This two-year online program empowers individuals in both the public and private sectors who work with health-related organizations and fosters their ability to work across all facets of this growing industry. With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act it is crucial that those who manage organizations that interface with the health care sector have the training to supervise workers, and lead teams with the upmost skill and efficiency. Students will leave the program prepared for management roles with the ability to directly impact the efficiency of health-related organizations, implement effective health care public policy and improve access to quality care.
