The M.A. program in economics and entrepreneurship for educators is designed to provide secondary and primary school teachers with both a foundation in economic theory and a set of strategies and methods for teaching economics in secondary and elementary schools. The program is designed to train teachers who have been identified as exceptional teachers in their region. Graduates of the program are expected to provide economic education leadership in their state and region. Our graduates are master teachers who serve as agents of change in their own regions. Some of them are influencing far-reaching educational policy, authoring curriculum that is being used locally, nationally and internationally, and conducting research that is changing the face of related instruction throughout the world.
