The Public Policy option conveys skills in evaluating costs and benefits of government policies. The option also transmits institutional knowledge of various government programs. The option prepares students for a career in local, state, or federal government agencies, public interest groups, advocacy organizations, consulting agencies, research institutes, and nonprofit or for-profit corporations operating in such areas as urban development and health care. The CBE provides undergraduate and graduate business education serving the diverse urban population of the Greater Los Angeles area and international students. We prepare students for careers in a global business environment and to become leaders in the local business community through strong academic standards, scholarly activity, community engagement, and hands-on learning, resulting in social mobility for our students.
