Applicants are required to demonstrate successful completion of a bachelor’s degree (or degree in-progress*) from a regionally accredited college or university. An academic transcript is required from any institution where 6 or more credit hours have been completed.
Submit a comprehensive resume or curriculum vitae.
Provide a personal statement that describes your interest in social work.
Three letters of recommendation from professional and/or academic colleagues are required. You will be asked to identify three recommenders and their contact information (including email) in the online application portal.

Our two-year, 60-credit Master of Social Work degree prepares you with the fundamentals you need to enter the professionalfield, while providing the advanced analytical, problem-solving and team-building skills to thrive in your career. The hallmarks of our curriculum include its flexibility, evidence-based approach and anti-oppression lens. Our program is designed to prepare students to connect theory to practice, bolstered by real-world learning experiences and research opportunities.<br><br>Students engage at both the clinical and macro levels on issues of interpersonal violence, including child maltreatment, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, youth violence and suicide. This concentration is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the overlapping and interdisciplinary nature of interpersonal violence. Students will understand the complex relationship between forms of violence, as well as gain a systems-based perspective that addresses the role of families, communities, policies, and resource disparities in violence. Predesigned tracks within the concentration prepare students with the knowledge and experience to meet the unique needs of a specific population. The tracks also streamline your decisions about course selection. Students choose one of the following tracks: Adolescents to Young Adults, American Indian/Alaska Native, Women and Young Families/Children.
