课程简介
Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, this program combines classroom and field experience to provide students with the skills necessary to become licensed social workers. Social work is a care-centered career that utilizes advanced knowledge of human behavior and social environments to support individuals within culturally diverse populations. This program prepares students for licensure in social work, with a focus on Missouri and Kansas. Thesis and non-these options are available. Students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in social work can apply for the Advanced Standing Program, which allows for completion within one year. Social work is expected to have faster than average job growth (9%) over the next decade according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Social workers can find employment in a variety of settings, including with welfare and human service agencies, in healthcare settings and in schools.
