Completion of a minimum of the first two years (30 units) of an undergraduate program at UVic, with an overall average of at least 3.5 (on the UVic 9.0 point scale) or better, or the equivalent at another university or community college on the last 12 units of university-transfer course work at the time of application (up to and including December).
Provide us with your grades.
If you're studying at a high school in Canada, or at a Canadian-curriculum high school outside of Canada, you can self-report your interim grades or predicted International Baccalaureate (IB) scores to your application.
If you're studying at an international high school, upload your in-progress transcript showing your grades and/or predicted IB scores to your application.
If you're studying at a college or university, upload your interim grades and/or predicted exam results to your UVic application.
If you've graduated from high school, college or university, arrange to have your official transcript sent directly to UVic.
IELTS - 6.5, with no component less than 6.0. TOEFL 90 on the iBT (internet-based test) with no section less than 20, or 575 on the PBT (paper-based test)

Our program takes decolonial, anti-racist and social-justice approaches to working with communities, families and individuals.<br>The School and our partners, who are students, staff, sessional instructors, and faculty members, are committed to decolonizing, anti-racism, anti-oppressive, and social justice work in our leadership, research, and education. Our goals are to establish learning opportunities and/or objectives on-campus and in an online environment that promotes decolonial-equity, respect, responsibility, accountability, curiosity, collaboration, risk-taking, and creativity.<br>UVic is committed to upholding the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion in our living, learning, and work environments. In pursuit of our values, we seek members in our School, including our partner communities, who will work respectfully and constructively with diverse differences across multiple levels of power.<br>The School offers an undergraduate, Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), degree and three graduate programs (MSWF, MSWA, MSWI) that emphasize social justice, Indigenous, and anti-oppressive approaches to working with communities, families, and individuals. All of our programs are fully accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE).
