Completion of a minimum of the first two years (30 units) of an undergraduate program at UVic, with an overall average of at least 3.5 (on the UVic 9.0 point scale) or better, or the equivalent at another university or community college on the last 12 units of university-transfer course work at the time of application (up to and including December).
Provide us with your grades.
If you're studying at a high school in Canada, or at a Canadian-curriculum high school outside of Canada, you can self-report your interim grades or predicted International Baccalaureate (IB) scores to your application.
If you're studying at an international high school, upload your in-progress transcript showing your grades and/or predicted IB scores to your application.
If you're studying at a college or university, upload your interim grades and/or predicted exam results to your UVic application.
If you've graduated from high school, college or university, arrange to have your official transcript sent directly to UVic.
IELTS - 6.5, with no component less than 6.0. TOEFL 90 on the iBT (internet-based test) with no section less than 20, or 575 on the PBT (paper-based test)

The Indigenous specialization provides opportunities for you to focus your undergraduate program on preparing for a leadership role as a helper and healer in Indigenous communities and various Indigenous organizations. You will co-create learning environments with other Indigenous students and faculty in the School. The intent of this specialization is to provide Indigenous students an opportunity to develop helping and healing practice frameworks that centralize Indigenous knowledge, peoples, nations and communities. This specialization will encourage you to explore and affirm your own Indigenous identity.
