The University offers a bachelor of science (BS) in Aviation Management.<br><br>The program includes a core of basic aviation courses-plus coursework in aviation management. In addition, students must complete one ISU minor.<br><br>Flight training is not required. However, to gain a better understanding of the aviation industry, students are encouraged to obtain a Federal Aviation Administration Private Pilot Certificate and pass the Federal Aviation Administration Remote Pilot Certificate examination.<br><br>The University's Aviation Technology Department is internationally recognized for the excellence of its facilities, faculty, and graduates.<br><br>Relatively small class sizes enable students to work one-on-one with highly talented and dedicated faculty members who are professional leaders in the aviation industry.<br>The program offers many opportunities to learn about the aviation management field through experiential learning. These include things such as internships/co-ops, flying drones, visits from guest speakers, and on-site classroom experiences.
