English 12 Pre Calculus 12 or Calculus 12 two of Biology 12 Chemistry 12 Physics 12 and one other university preparatory course
Students who complete the International Baccalaureate IB Diplomawith a minimum score of 24 will be considered for admission.
Minimum grade requirement for any subject is 3.
Students can submit predicted or anticipated results for early fall admission and scholarship purposes.
For high school students the minimum admission requirements include an overall average of 70 percent in Grade 12 with no grade below 65 percent in each of the required subjects Admissions to limited enrolment programs is competitive meeting the minimum average does not guarantee admission.
Please note students who are currently in grade 12 applying for early admissionmust have the program requirements in grade 11 and be registered in the program prerequisites in grade 12 to be eligible for an early offer Otherwise offers will be made after receipt of final first term grade 12 transcript.
IELTS - 6.5 overall and no lower than 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL - 90 iBT and no lower than 20 in each band.
CAEL - 70 overall and no lower than 60 in each band.
Pearson Test of English - Academic - 60 overall with no score below 50.

Economics explores issues of central importance to the human condition at the local, national and global levels. These issues include unemployment, inflation, poverty and inequality, pollution and environmental degradation, sustainable economic development, depletion of fish stocks and other resources, international economic interactions, budget deficits and national debts.<br><br>You will join an intimate learning environment where you explore some of the most challenging topics within your field. Small class sizes in upper-year courses facilitate maximum interaction with your professors and peers and promote a student-centered environment. <br><br>You can also participate, through groups like the Economics Society, in the intellectual life of the department by being involved in the choice of speakers and other activities.<br><br>Degree requirements are: <br><br>ECON 101, 102, 201, 202, 301, 302, 371, 372, 401, 402, 471, 493, 494 and 21 credits ECON electives with at least 9 credits at the 300 or 400 level; <br>A thesis supervised by a department member; <br>A minimum of 12 credits in MATH, including 6 credits of calculus. <br>The 18 credits of approved electives are normally taken in math or science subjects; <br>PHIL 213 is recommended.
