人类学系提供研究生课程，以获取人类学艺术硕士学位。该计划的课程工作从概念上讲是四个领域，具有考古学，文化人类学和自然人类学方面的师资力量。学生由研究生教职顾问（进入UCF人类学系的“教职页面”）录取，并且可以选择攻读论文或非论文。取决于学生兴趣的研究生学习计划将与他或她的研究生指导老师一起制定。该课程的学生准备进入博士学位课程或获得硕士学位后开始专业职业。
The Department of Anthropology offers a graduate program leading to the Master of Arts degree in Anthropology. The program includes elements of all four subfields of anthropology and acknowledges their importance, though our faculty strengths are in archaeology, cultural anthropology, and biological anthropology. The department follows an apprenticeship model, and thus the MA student works directly under the supervision of their graduate adviser. Students in the program are prepared to enter doctoral programs or begin professional careers following the MA degree.<br><br>Degree-seeking students in the Anthropology MA program may elect to follow either a thesis or non-thesis plan of study. Each plan of study requires a minimum of 30 credit hours, 15 of which must be at the 6000-level. The thesis option is designed for students who plan to enter doctoral programs, while the non-thesis option is more appropriate for students entering or continuing profession careers following the MA degree.
