国际学生入学条件
A high school diploma with a minimum of 22 units of credit including four units of English, three units of mathematics, three units of science, three units of social sciences (social studies), and three additional units in any of the above areas or in a foreign language.
A high school grade point average of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
Applicants who do not meet the criteria listed above will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be asked to submit a personal statement before an admission decision is made.
Unofficial English translated copies of high school (secondary) transcripts or GED score (except for students who have a bachelor's degree). Official transcripts are due upon acceptance to Maryville.
Unofficial English translated copies of transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended. Official transcripts are due upon acceptance to Maryville. University transcripts from outside the U.S. require an official evaluation from a NACES member service (naces.org).

Any other documentation required by a specific Maryville academic program.
TOEFL - 69 overall with no subscore lower than 15, or
IELTS - 6.0 with no subscore lower than 5, or
DET - 95, or
PTE ACADEMIC: 47, or
ACT - 21 or higher on Writing/English section, or
SAT - 480 or higher on Writing section, or
ELS Center: Level 112 completed with a 2.5 grade or better, or
U.S. University/College Study: English Composition 104 equivalent with a ''C'' grade or better. English for non-native speakers does not qualify, or
A Levels - 1 ''A'' grade or better in English or 3 ''B'' grades or better in subjects other than Math, or
Medium of Instruction: Medium of Instruction is English and is noted in AACRAO as a Medium of Instruction - English country, or
English is the primary and official language of the country where all study occurred (i.e., Canada not including Quebec)

Students who wish to teach social science/social studies courses at the high school level (grades 9-12) enter the secondary/high school teacher preparation program. The program involves extensive professional education courses with a strong grounding in content area coursework. All teacher preparation programs also involve extensive experiences in partner schools.<br><br>Prior to acceptance, transfer students may need to pass the MoGEA and/or MoCA at 220 or higher, depending on the number of credit hours they are able to transfer into Maryville.
