课程简介
The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences offers undergraduate degrees, certificate programs, and graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines. Our students learn to think critically, communicate clearly, and solve complex problems--skills that will prepare you for careers, leadership and engaged citizenship. Our students perfect their writing and speaking skills and gain advanced understanding of people and social structures. We offer internships, creative endeavors, applied research opportunities, and international and multicultural activities to enhance classroom experiences. Our graduates are effective, informed and compassionate professionals who can engage with people and communities at the regional, national and international levels. CMU's sociology program will provide you with a sound understanding of human groups, institutions and societies. Youll be part of a department that supports social justice and diversity while using research and critical thinking to solve social problems. While working toward your sociology major or minor, you also can pursue a concentration in social and criminal justice or youth studies.
