Want to explore them early You can start by enrolling in the co-op stream and gaining up to two years of work experience prior to graduating. Sociologists study all aspects of human group life. We study the various ways that societies attempt to address health care, criminal justice, religion, family structure, deviance, business and technology, education, global economic patterns, our relationship to the environment, and all other aspects of human activity and interaction. Some sociologists are interested in macro questions in society, such as systemic inequality, poverty, and crime, and other sociologists focus on micro questions, such as understanding the various ways that we interact in smaller groups. Our variety of courses reflect the broad range of research interests and theoretical perspectives that guide sociologists in their quest to understand human social life.
