Applicants are required to have successful completion of high school with 2.5 GPA

English proficiency requirements (one of the following):

TOEFL IBT – 71; IELTS – 6.0; ELS – Level 109 PTE Academic – 52

We have rolling admission, which means we can admit students to WKU close to the start of each semester; however, we recommend that students apply at least two months before the start of their semester to ensure they have enough time to receive an I-20, student visa, housing, and scholarship information.

An undergraduate degree in Recreation Administration provides access to a world of fulfilling careers helping individuals, families, and communities through recreation and leisure. You will receive a well-rounded education in the recreation field through a challenging, student-focused learning environment with opportunities to apply the skills and theories taught in the classroom through service to the campus, community, and recreation profession. The major in Recreation Administration (leading to a Bachelor of Science degree) prepares students for exciting careers helping people improve their quality of life by serving th eir community in nonprofit, government, and commercial recreation services. Students select a concentration in Recreation & Sport Services, Recreation & Tourism, Nonprofit Administration, Outdoor Recreation, or Facility & Event Management.
