课程简介

运动科学，体育和健康系的主要目标是为将来的教学，健身，健康，运动管理，运动医学和康复领域的专业人员做好准备。次要目标是帮助学生了解体育锻炼生活方式的益处并发展健康的生活习惯。打算攻读运动科学专业的学生应表现出健康的身体健康水平。所有专业必须每年参加并满足部门身体素质评估的要求。未能达到提高健康水平的体适能，可能会导致管理专业的变更。
In the fitness and wellness concentration, students learn about physical wellness for all ages, motor skills, performance training, and adapted physical activities. Built in elective hours give students the ability to tailor their degree toward individual career goals. Used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate credit, up to 6 hours of electives could be used as part of the Fast Track Program. Upon completion of this concentration, students will have a minimum of 120 hours of field experience/internship to add to their resume as well as a minor in science.
