The Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity program prepares students to make a positive impact on the professional practices and policies in their field. Students study psychological characteristics and their influence on sport and physical activity participation. This program emphasizes scholarship. Students learn to think conceptually and analytically. Our graduate program attracts and includes numerous Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University assistant coaches, helping to enhance their understanding of athlete psychology, behavior, and performance.
