Athletic trainers are healthcare providers who provide point of care for patients in a variety of settings. Students will learn how to prevent, diagnose, and treat injuries and illness related to physical activity. As an athletic trainer, youll engage in interprofessional practice with a variety of healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses, to provide patient-centered care that results in patient participation in athletics, work, and life. Our master of science in athletic training will prepare you for employment within a variety of settingsfrom secondary school athletics to professional sports, sports medicine clinics, government agencies, and performing arts organizations.
