The Master of Science in Athletic Training (M.S.A.T.) program will put you on the leading edge of an emerging and in-demand area of health care. This two-year professional degree program includes a rigorous combination of classroom, clinical, and research experiences that exposes you to the continuum of care in the athletic training profession. Students who earn an M.S. in Athletic Training degree are prepared to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) examination. The development of clinical skills is central to the mission of the athletic training program. Our sequence of courses provides you with the knowledge you need, paired with ongoing opportunities to place what you've learned directly into practice. You will have access to a variety of patient populationsfrom Division I athletes to dancers to military personnelin multiple athletic training practice settings, such as high schools and physicians' offices. The supportive expertise of our preceptors will help you develop confidence, independence, and proficiency as an athletic trainer.
