The primary goal of the department of exercise science, physical education and wellness is to prepare future professionals in the fields of teaching, coaching, fitness, wellness and rehabilitation. The field of physical therapy provides a stable and rewarding career assisting people in regaining, developing, strengthening, and maintaining their mobility, dexterity, and motor skills while improving their quality of life. This pre-professional studies program prepares students for the process of evaluating individuals with unique needs and requirements and for continued education in a professional school program.
