Exercise science is the theory and application of exercise science to the health, fitness and disease prevention of diverse populations. UVM students benefit from early engagement and hands-on experience. The program's laboratory-based coursework introduces students to state-of-the-art technologies, including metabolic cart and fitness testing, body composition technology, and cardiorespiratory outcomes assessment tools.
