Basic requirements for admission as an international student to a bachelor's degree program include the following:
Completion of formal secondary education in a pre-university curriculum.
Completion must include the awarding of a diploma or the issuance of a leaving certificate or matriculation certificate generally recognized as the educational qualification necessary for admission to higher studies.
English language ability at a level sufficient to undertake a full course of study.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing (ACT) scores (if applicable).
International students are not required to provide an ACT or SAT score, but they may use the ACT or SAT to satisfy English language proficiency requirements.

The Kinesiology major leads to a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Nutrition and Health. This major is for students interested in the scientific aspects of human movement. Kinesiology focuses on the acquisition of knowledge and understanding of interactions of physiological, anatomical, neuropsychological, and biomechanical factors that affect human health and performance. Skills learned in the classroom, laboratory and internships include assessing and developing effective strategies for enhancing health, improving performance, preventing diseases related to sedentary behavior and promoting the recovery of health in rehabilitation settings. State-of-the-art laboratories complement the classroom and foster critical thinking, reasoning, and other basic principles of liberal education, instrumental in careers in and outside of Kinesiology. <br><br>Kinesiology studies the how and why of human movement. Youll focus on understanding interactions among physiological, anatomical, neuropsychological, and biomechanical factors that affect human health and performance. Additionally, youll learn to assess and develop effective strategies to enhance health, improve performance, prevent chronic disease, and promote recovery. Kinesiology prepares students for careers in medicine, physical or occupational therapy, physician assistant, nursing, chiropractic, athletic training, and other allied health professions. Kinesiology is also an appropriate major for students interested in various careers or graduate programs in health and fitness, strength and conditioning, clinical research, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
