数学教育理学硕士

除了满足大学范围的研究生入学要求外，强烈建议您准备数学或统计学专业的文学学士或理学学士学位或与之密切相关的领域。不符合无条件录取条件的学生应预期可能需要额外的本科和/或研究生课程来完成学位。建议申请人提交两份推荐信，最好是能与申请人的数学能力说话的推荐信。学位候选人必须成功完成36个学期的学分。
The Master of Science in Mathematics Education is the only graduate degree of its kind in the city of San Antonio. This program prepares graduates to pursue mathematical leadership in high school or college teaching, or to enter doctoral programs in mathematics education. Students are also introduced to the breadth of mathematics education research. Program graduates teach in a variety of districts in San Antonio, the Alamo Colleges, and even here at UTSA. The University of Texas at San Antonio will provide an interactive and immersive experience to support students through a productive career in mathematics education.<br>This program is taught by award winning faculty who implement innovative curricula and teach according to the best pedagogical practices for teaching mathematics. Graduates maintain strong relationships with program faculty and mentors, providing continuous opportunities for networking, development, and growth throughout their careers.
